The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has achieved significant development milestones at CBD NSIT City, envisioned as Pakistan’s first, largest, and most advanced IT city. The project is progressing at a steady pace, with visible on-ground developments rapidly transforming the site into a modern urban hub.

A major highlight includes the installation of electricity poles and streetlights along the main circular road across Package 2 and Package 3. The authority has completed 100 percent installation in Package 3, while approximately 50 percent work has been accomplished in Package 2. Overall, 3.68 kilometers of road infrastructure has been covered, marking a substantial advancement toward establishing a state-of-the-art urban framework.

Work across the public realm is also moving swiftly. Construction of dedicated bus lanes and cycle lanes is currently underway, reflecting CBD Punjab’s commitment to promoting sustainable and smart mobility solutions. At the same time, development of footpaths and easement structures is in full progress, ensuring accessibility and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure throughout the project.

In parallel, plantation work at the main entrance, public spaces, and surrounding green belts is nearing completion. These efforts underscore the authority’s focus on environmental sustainability and the creation of a visually appealing urban landscape.

All development activities at CBD NSIT City are progressing in line with the planned timelines, demonstrating the authority’s efficiency and commitment to timely project delivery.

In his statement, CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, said that CBD NSIT City represents a transformative milestone for Punjab’s IT and business landscape. He expressed satisfaction over the pace of development and reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to delivering a world-class, future-ready city aligned with international standards. He added that the project will play a pivotal role in advancing Punjab’s development in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

CBD NSIT City is steadily emerging as a symbol of innovation, sustainability, and economic progress, further strengthening Pakistan’s position as a growing hub for technology and investment.
