CBD Punjab Accelerates Walton Road Upgradation Following Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Flyover Success

                                         

After the successful completion of the Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Flyover, Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), is steadfastly advancing the Walton Road Upgradation. Imran Amin, CEO of CBD Punjab, recently visited the Walton Road Upgradation Project and presided over a comprehensive review meeting.

COO CBD Punjab Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Architecture Sameer Aftab, Project Director NLC Brigadier (R) Umar Farooqui, and other senior officials of CBD Punjab, NLC, and NESPAK were present during the meeting.

CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, personally assessed the progress of the conduit work on Walton Road. He emphasized that, following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the conduit work will be completed promptly. Imran Amin has directed to utilize full workforce and machinery in the ongoing Walton Road Upgradation project.

The upcoming focus includes the diversion of the ADA Nullah, once the conduit work is completed.

CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, expressed  commitment to address the longstanding sewage issues on Walton Road, with the goal of resolving them before the anticipated rain spell of 2024. The Walton Road Upgradation is poised to bring significant relief to the residents of Walton and Lahore.

Additionally, CEO  CBD Punjab,  reviewed  landscaping work on Captain Karnal  Sher Khan Shaheed, flyover, underlining the commitment to both functionality and aesthetics in infrastructure development.

Economic confidence among finance professionals edges higher globally despite big fall in North America

                                                The latest ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and IMA ®  (Institute of Management Accountants)  Global Economic Conditions Survey (GECS) suggests that confidence among accountants and finance professionals edged slightly higher in Q2 2024 and is just above its historical average.  For chief financial officers (CFOs), all the key global indicators rose, with sharp gains evident in the New Orders and Capital Expenditure indices.   There were some notable regional differences .
