CEO CBD PUNJAB SURPRISE VISIT PROPELS CBD PUNJAB PROJECTS TOWARD TIMELY COMPLETION

               


Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), commonly known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), witnessed a significant development as CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, took a proactive approach to evaluate ongoing projects on a surprise visit this Sunday. The visit aimed to assess project progress in accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, demonstrated his commitment to the timely completion of projects by inspecting various key sites. The surprise visit covered the Ghora Chowk Flyover, Lahore Prime CBD Punjab Quaid District, CBD Punjab Phase 2 and 3, as well as the Walton Road upgradation. 

Executive Director Technical CBD Punjab Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management CBD Punjab Asif Iqbal, Director Construction CBD Punjab Asif Babar, Director Architecture CBD Punjab Sameer Aftab, and officials from NESPAK and NLC were also present.

While expressing his views CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin said "Our dynamic approach ensures the timely completion of every project under CBD Punjab. We are committed to the development and progress of the region."

Executive Director Technical CBD Punjab Riaz Hussain provided a comprehensive briefing on the ongoing projects. Highlights of the progress include the completion of shuttering for the Ghora Chowk Flyover, the concrete completion of the bottom slab of the flyover, and the ongoing installation of geo grid for the MSE wall. Additionally, the sub-base for slip roads has been completed, and these roads are expected to be operational in the coming days.

Lahore Prime CBD Punjab Quaid District is currently undergoing hardscaping and landscaping.  The Walton Road upgradation is progressing rapidly to meet its targets.

Economic confidence among finance professionals edges higher globally despite big fall in North America

                                                The latest ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and IMA ®  (Institute of Management Accountants)  Global Economic Conditions Survey (GECS) suggests that confidence among accountants and finance professionals edged slightly higher in Q2 2024 and is just above its historical average.  For chief financial officers (CFOs), all the key global indicators rose, with sharp gains evident in the New Orders and Capital Expenditure indices.   There were some notable regional differences .
