Alibaba.com Highlights Value of Online Export at Textile Asia Trade Fair

                                              

Alibaba.com, a leading platform for global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce, has concluded its successful participation in the 25th edition of the Textile Asia International Trade Fair in South Asia. Held at the Lahore Expo Centre from 13 to 15 October, this much anticipated event brought together textile industry experts and businesses from around the world, all converging in Pakistan to delve into the latest trends, challenges and opportunities within the textile sector.

During the course of three days, the trade fair attracted an impressive 35,000 attendees and over 450 exhibitors. The Alibaba.com booth, being one of the highlights at the event, drew in more than 500 visitors who interacted with the Alibaba.com experts present on-site and gained insights into the transformative impact of B2B e-commerce on conventional global trade practices. They also explored the extensive range of opportunities and tools available from Alibaba.com which can strengthen their export ventures. Engaging in interactive activities, visitors also competed for enticing prizes, including coupons for complimentary e-commerce training provided by Alibaba.com.

Alibaba.com's participation at the 25th Textile Asia International Trade Fair was another testament to its commitment towards nurturing the growth and progress of the local textile industry. In the 12 months ending March 31, 2023, more than 47 million buyers from over 190 countries sourced business opportunities or completed transactions on Alibaba.com.
